For 2 servings (one for me!) of this recipe you will need:
- 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 3 1/2 tablespoons of pumpkin pie filling
- 1/2 teaspoon each of nutmeg and cinnamon
- a small bowl
place the 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream in the small bowl. You can make the recipe larger if you want but I don't recommend this unless you're good at math (simplest way to make it larger is just to double it).
Now add the pumpking pie filling to the ice cream. Here you should mix the icecream and the pumpking pie filling with a spoon (the large wooden ones work the best). Once you've finished mixing (it should look like a light orange icecream) taste it and it should taste sort of like pumpkin pie. Then you can continue on to the next step to add some spices.
Now you can add the nutmeg and the cinnamon to your icecream to make it complete! Add the two spices and mix them well into the icecream. once you're done you can taste it. If it tastes like you put in too much of the spices just add a little more ice cream and pie filling. It might seem a little bold or something at first but you can always add a touch of honey to sweeten it a bit.
Now If you want your ice cream a little harder because it melted while making it or something you can put it in the freezer for awhile. But be warned, It takes about an hour or two to make it really well frozen.
