You will need*1/2 stick of butter*1 cup of brown sugar (light or dark)*A can of crushed pineapples (drained- set the juice aside for later)

Put in the oven at the 350 degrees for 8-15 minutes (you'll know they're done when you can stick a toothpick in the center and it comes out clean)
1.) Place a medium sized pan on the stove on low-medium heat2.) Put 3-4 tablespoons of the pineapple mixture on the pan (try to include mostly the liquid in the mixture)3.) Spread the pineapple mixture across the bottom of the pan4.) Place a few pineapple rings on the pan 5.) Put a tablespoon of the mixture on top of each pineapple rings6.) Cook for about 5 minutes, flipping them back and forth so the heat can be individually distributed on both sides*You should know when there done when they're yellower and sweeter.

1.)In a medium sized bowl place about 1 cup of confections sugar and 3-4 tablespoons of pineapple juice2.) Combine ingredients*You can adjust this by adding more confections sugar or pineapple juice according to your taste and consistency preference
1.) Place the sautéed pineapple rings first on the plate or wherever you decide to put the pineapple upside down cakes2.) Make sure the cakes are cooled and place them on top of the pineapple rings3.)
